David Loren is a brilliant man with a tough problem.  David works for a government think tank tasked with dreaming up new – and deadly – technologies to aid the military.  David is really good at his job, when he does it.  Lately he’s lost his taste for designing solutions to kill people in awful new ways.  The problem?  David has decided that he can no longer stomach creating weapons.

Colonel Mark Harrison, a patriot and all around hard-ass, has been assigned to “motivate” David into delivering on their DARPA (that’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, a real government agency that dreams up high science projects for the US military) contracts.  Not delivering on his commitments carries a much heavier penalty than loosing his job.  Colonel Harrison seems to be the guy who can dream up many punishments worse than dying.

David is one smart cookie, and Think Tank seems to focus on watching him put together a Machiavellian plan to break free of his captors.  We’re pretty excited to see what David conjures up in his quest to be free.  Think Tank is a brainy comic that satisfies.  We give issue 1 of Think Tank a 5 out of 5, and we can’t wait to read more.
